Put the “A” back in Tech: Teach
Hackathons, 24-hour coding events transform students by allowing them to work in teams to create apps, websites, and hardware that enhance the global community. It allows all types of students to engage no matter what their interest is. The process creates an environment where education happens through collaboration. This session will provide an in-depth understanding of this unique process and how it can help students of all ages.

Product Management Intern


Julia was a product owner for React implementation effort of shopping lists and created 25 user stories to support web and mobile devices. She also created a product strategy for shopping lists with high-level requirements, risks, dependencies, limitations, and success metrics. With her findings she delivered shopping list notes recommendation to stakeholders based on user research collected and customer problem identified. Julia conducted 28 customer interviews, analyzed 11 competitor apps and 1200+ mobile reviews to identify the customer problem. She was a Scrum master for two sprints that were two weeks long each and facilitated two engaging remote retro ceremonies.

    Julia executed a continuous improvement project focused on documentation of standard work for quality control audit of programs. She interviewed 6+ employees to understand the purpose of the audit, risks, assumptions, and key performance indicators. She also presented current status reports to stakeholders and future recommendation by following DMAIC methodology.
